what would everyone think of starting to simulate ww2 scenarios? I personally would love to get into it with authentic gear etc. What does everyone think of this? Give me some opinions of how it would and would not work, etc.
Thanks Havoc

Yeah, the only problem comes in with the guns. They're expensive, and from what I understand, the gas garands and such are terrible peformance wise.

Myself and my sons do WWII reanacting, and coming up with scenario's itsn't hard, but to do one right you are going to go at it all day. If you are going to have a good one. The WWII gear in repro is out there, as for guns, there are no really good ones each the Thompson out there. If you could get around having to go modern with the guns then the rest would be easy with the time and enough people. Bruce

Bruce, as for re-enacting. where do you do it at, and how much does equipment cost?

The group I belong is mainly based out of Ohio. An we represent the 502nd PIR 101st Airborne. There are diferent group of different units all over the US. There is an 82nd group based here in western Pa. Events are held all over the US also. There is one coming up soon right here in Torrance Pa. As far as equipment the cost depends on who you want to represent. As to the cost be ready to have a bigger outlay to get started. Two places to look are World War Two impressions and AT The Front. Both very good dealers. If you have anymore questions, feel free to PM me. Bruce
